Our pre season footy trip this year will be held in lovely Copenhagen.
Mark April 15th - 17th in your diary, because the North London Lions will be taking on the very best that Copenhagen has to offer. The North Copenhagen Barracudas have kindly invited us to visit their city, and we'll be playing a game against both them and also the Danish national team while over there. Of course we'll also fly in on Friday night, and so have two full evenings of fun and games in Copenhagen, so make sure you sure you start putting a few extra pounds in Read More

The North London Lions AGM will be held this Thursday 11th November, starting 6:30pm sharp at Camden Belushi's.
Everyone is very welcome to attend, and during the course of the meeting we'll be electing the Committee for Season 2011, plus new coaches.
A few years back we (accidently) scheduled the AGM at a bar which was also running a bikini contest. It was obviously a debacle, and we ended the night with an honorary President named Cindy, who bought many obvious assets to the Committee, none of which were at all relevant nor can be mentioned Read More
Season 2010 came to a close recently, with the epic North London Lions Presentation Night & AFL Grand Final marathon.

The final official Lions event of the Season is a big one.

Effectively that means a 12 hour marathon, starting at 7:30pm on Friday evening, and ending sometime around midday on Saturday 25th. Along the way we'll count votes and applaud Best & Fairest winners in all grades this season, attempt to stay up all night long, and then front up at a ridiculous hour of the morning to watch the AFL Grand Final live.
The details Read More
For those left wondering why there are no more match reports being posted here. The reason is simple. We were bundled out of the finals in both 1st and 2nd grade a few weeks back, and have been licking our wounds ever since.
It was an unexpected end to a Season that promised so much, however rest assured, the Lions will be back, bigger and better than ever, in Season 2011.
In the meantime, get on board for the AFL Grand Final in London on September 25th. And also the Dublin trip to watch Australia versus Ireland in the final game of Read More
